Step by step

What to do after an accident

  1. Make sure everyone's safe

If anyone is hurt, call 111. If you can, move somewhere safe and turn on your hazard lights.

Get the other driver's name, phone number, address, rego and insurer.

  3. Take photos

  4. Let your insurer know

Tell them what happened, and that you'd like Fix Auto Collision to repair your car.

  5. Call your local workshop

We'll talk you through the next steps. Find your nearest location.
