Dean and Emma Letcher
Repairing cars in Penrose for 27 years, the workshop many locals still know as Sallen Panelbeaters is now Fix Auto Penrose, with the same team doing the work.
Dean and Emma joined Fix Auto Collision to give their workshop the backing of a global network while keeping it theirs. Dean says the biggest adjustment was remembering to answer the phone with the new name.

Rim & alloy repair
Kerbed, scraped or buckled wheels machined on our CNC lathe, removing only what's needed, then refinished to factory silver, blackout or a custom finish. Usually 1–3 days.
ADAS calibration
Cameras and sensors for features like lane assist, emergency braking and parking aids recalibrated after a repair, so your safety systems work as they should.
Auto air conditioning servicing
Air con checked, re-gassed and repaired, including after front-end damage.

Do I need an appointment?
It helps. Call ahead or send photos through the estimate form so we're ready for you. You can also come to 346 Neilson Street between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and the team will take a look at the damage.
Do you offer courtesy cars?
Yes, courtesy cars are available, including while your wheels are in for rim repair. Let us know when you book so we can have one ready for you.
How long does rim repair take?
Most alloy wheel and rim repairs take one to three days. We machine the wheel on our CNC lathe, removing only what's needed, then refinish it. We'll confirm the timeframe once we've seen the wheel.
How long will my collision repair take?
It depends on the damage and the parts your car needs. We'll give you an estimated timeframe with your estimate, and let you know if anything changes.
Can I get an estimate from photos?
Yes. Upload photos through the estimate form and we'll come back to you with next steps. Photos give us a head start, and we'll confirm the estimate once we've seen the car in person.
