Fix Auto Mt Wellington is a locally owned collision repair centre at 71 Portage Road, Auckland 1062, owned by Aaron and Ryan Shaw. The workshop repairs cars, vans and small commercial trucks, and handles collision and accident repair, paint and scratch repair, ADAS calibration, air conditioning servicing, auto electrical and scanning, dent repair and removal, general mechanical work, vehicle diagnostics, wheel alignment and windscreen replacement, for insurance claims and private jobs.
It's part of Fix Auto NZ, a Kiwi owned and operated network backed by approximately 900 Fix Auto locations worldwide.

Family owned, and on Portage Road for 42 years. The workshop many locals know as Owen Shaw Panelbeaters is now Fix Auto Mt Wellington. Accident repair and mechanical work in one place, so your car isn't sent elsewhere for the parts of the job that aren't panel and paint.
It started as a family business: Dad founded it, with Mum backing him up. Today Aaron and Ryan have 27 and 20 years in the industry. One looks after estimating and the day-to-day admin, the other runs the workshop floor. Both were taught that you need to lead, and to adapt and move with the times.
They joined Fix Auto Collision to be part of a network that grows together. They say it has raised the bar for the whole team, and they've enjoyed stepping up with it.

Panel beating and structural repair after a crash, from a crumpled bumper to bigger damage, for insurance claims and private jobs.
Scuffs and scratches colour-matched and refinished to blend into your original paintwork. Send a photo for an estimate.
Cameras and sensors for features like lane assist, emergency braking and parking aids recalibrated after a repair, so your safety systems work as they should.
Air con checked, re-gassed and repaired, including after front-end damage.
Electrical faults found and fixed, with diagnostic scanning to check your vehicle's systems after a repair.
Dings and dents removed, often without repainting when the paint isn't broken.
Mechanical and suspension repairs, including the faults a collision can hide.
Diagnostic scans to find faults and confirm your vehicle's systems are working properly after a repair.
Wheels aligned after a knock or a repair, so your car tracks straight and your tyres wear evenly.
Windscreens replaced on site, so you're not booking a separate job.
We've been around a long time, so we've built a pretty good foundation of trust with people.
