Careers and apprenticeships
Build a career in collision repair.
Work with a locally owned workshop, backed by a global network that is growing in New Zealand.
Start on the tools. Go as far as you want.
Every Fix Auto Collision location in New Zealand is locally owned and run by people who know the trade. Many of our owners started on the tools themselves.
Being part of a global network means a refreshed workshop, a brand that's growing in New Zealand, and owners who want their people to grow with the business.

Where an apprenticeship can take you
Apprentice to owner
Glen Collinson started at the Hamilton South workshop at 18, did his apprenticeship there, and went on to buy the business. He's run it for 25 years.

At Fix Auto Mt Wellington, members of the family team trained in the workshop: one as a spray painter, another through a five-year panel beating apprenticeship before stepping up to tradesman.

Panel beater
Repairing and replacing damaged panels and structures, from minor dents to major collision damage.
Spray painter
